Eeva bought her first road bike in 2017, aged 26. Twelve months later she’d won two Finnish championships (crit and omnium), come 2nd in the national road race and gained British Cycling cat 1 licence representing Velociposse. She’s also one of the best fixed gear riders in Europe.

In 2019, Eeva will be racing in Belgium for MULTUMaccountants ladies cyclingteam, hoping to win lots of races (with a wheelie). The aim is to collect enough UCI points to qualify for Tokyo Olympics in 2020. She also wants to inspire other women to be badass on the bike. After abandoning her career in architecture and human rights in order to pursue cycling, she now concentrates her renaissance woman skills on sewing glitter jerseys and doing track stands without hands.
